The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented and highly organised professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial management. They should possess excellent analytical skills and experience in managing financial records, preparing statements, and conducting budget analysis. Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP, is essential, along with a solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards. Responsibilities
• Reconcile daily sales reports to ensure accurate revenue recording.
• Manage payment setups and verify stock payments for IL and AU accounts.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and monitor petty cash expenses for compliance.
• Record all financial transactions in Xero accurately.
• Perform detailed bank and petty cash reconciliations.
• Conduct weekly expense allocation analysis to maintain budget accuracy.
• Manage the month-end close process, including sales reconciliation, prepaid expenses, fixed asset management, tax reconciliations, and profit & loss (P&L) reporting.
• Collaborate on a comprehensive cost of goods analysis to inform pricing and profitability strategies.
• Prepare and organise data required for monthly tax reports.
• Conduct financial analysis and compliance reviews to ensure all financial activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the COO to enhance financial reporting and support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain an up-to-date cost of goods database for accurate cost tracking.
• Assist in audit preparation and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or similar roles, with a preference for experience in a retail or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in both English and Indonesian is required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
• Proficient in Xero for accounting and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Shopify for sales reconciliation and data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Competent with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) for documentation and collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating financial data and problem-solving abilities to support company objectives.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work regularly from the office, with a strong commitment to closely collaborating with the COO and other team members on financial and operational matters.
