Job Description

One of our client’s, a premium developer and construction company in Bali, was looking for an Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in conceptualising, designing, and overseeing the construction of high-quality villas from start to finish. An understanding of modern architecture, sustainability, and luxury design is essential. Interior design and project management skills are highly desirable. Responsibilities
• Develop architectural concepts, considering client needs, project feasibility, and aesthetics.
• Create mood boards and design concepts that align with project goals.
• Produce comprehensive architectural block plans, layouts, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare accurate floor plans, elevations, and sections for construction.
• Develop detailed construction documents, including materials specifications.
• Create high-quality 3D models and renderings for project presentations.
• Utilise 3D modeling software to provide realistic visualizations and design simulations.
• Provide detailed furniture and fixture drawings for custom designs.
• Conceptualise and integrate interior design elements that complement the architectural vision.
• Interior design expertise is a plus.
• Oversee construction sites to ensure adherence to architectural designs.
• Coordinate with contractors and engineers to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Address any design-related issues that arise during construction and propose solutions.
• Ensure project timelines are met and report any deviations to the management.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including revisions as necessary.
• Coordinate the acquisition of necessary permits and approvals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Revit, or other architectural design software.
• Knowledge of rendering software like V-Ray, Lumion, or similar.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Sustainable design practices, understanding of eco-friendly materials.
• Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.
• Project management certifications or training.
• Experience with smart home technology integration.

Job Requirement

• Open for local candidates.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum three years of hands-on experience in architectural design, preferably with a focus on residential projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong visualisation skills, including the ability to create detailed renderings and drawings.
• Solid project management abilities to effectively oversee and coordinate project stages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members.
• Highly creative, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
