About the Role:
As a CDP, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chefs, contribute to innovative menu creations, and grow your career in a fast-paced and supportive atmosphere. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the chef’s specifications.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and kitchen safety.
Support various kitchen stations as needed and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Keep the station clean, organised, and well-stocked.
Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available for daily use.
Requirements:
- Complete a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Sous Chef
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Number of candidates required: 1 (one) person.

A valid English language certificate is required, with a minimum overall IELTS score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0.
Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be necessary, contingent on your passport or the location of your placement.
