• Source and evaluate suppliers for marine equipment, gensets, engines, spare parts, and related operational needs.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with engineering, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely procurement processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements based on project and operational demands.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure purchased products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and procurement documentation.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics and shipment arrangements for imported goods and marine equipment.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and vendor evaluations periodically.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations, preferably in marine, industrial, or engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Experience handling local and overseas procurement activities.
• Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willing to travel for supplier visits or project requirements if needed.
