Head Chef Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including preparation, storage and hygiene.
2. Supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth food production.
3. Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team to achieve high standards.
4. Create kitchen team work schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
5. Ensure all dishes comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
6. Conduct regular inspections to ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly.
7. COGS and Inventory Management
Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years of experience as Head Chef or similar position, preferably in a restaurant with international concept.
2. In-depth understanding of food presentation.
3. Ability to lead a team and fluent in English.
4. Understanding of kitchen budget management.
5. Familiarity with Hazard Analisys and Critical Control Point (HACCP).
6. High creativity in creating new menus and keeping up with the latest culinary trends.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
8. Formal education in the culinary field is a plus.
9. willing to be placed in Umalas, Bali.
